Of course, but that doesn't take away on Broken Shore there are eredars summoning void creatures, and also right next to that area other eredar warlock npcs that use void walkers as temporary minions.

Also KJ has a phase where he summons void creatures.

Priests class is more void-lore then ever before this expansion, of course we knew a lot about the naaru light/void balance since TBC and WoD, but Legion made it even more personal for players.

So even if it's not Sargeras directly using the void, at least KJ's invasion forces do. Maybe KJ went mad too and got whispered by void lords as well to oppose sargeras indirectly... I dunno, we'll see...

Maybe it was all a trap to lure us somewhere, KJ even admired Velen's powers and visions at the end.

For the story it makes sense to put the most powerful players & npc characters on like Argus temporarily, so the Old gods (N'zoth) can come out of hiding and strike for 8.0.

    He fears the void lords.
    Not the magic on itself.

One of the naaru, K'ure, contacted the eredar leader and offered to shepherd him and his closest allies to safety. Filled with renewed hope, Velen sought out other eredar whom he believed he could trust"

If the naaru had been there before it would have been worded as such. Instead it 100% implies that the naaru had never been to Argus at that point. It would have said "the beings who granted the Atmal crystals" or something akin to that. It 100% shows that these are still something they had not met and Velen only just now is knowing what they are.
Care to point out which part of that says that they weren't contacted by the Naaru before? Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

The only thing Sargeras is worried about with the Void is that a Void Lord will corrupt a Titan World-Soul, birthing a Void Titan. Presumably, the only way that can happen is if an Old God corrupts a nascent Titan.

The Legion's first soldiers, the Nathrezim, are creatures of Shadow. The Void is a natural part of the universe and is simply a tool for the Burning Legion. Nothing they're doing with the Void imperils the Burning Crusade.

    This,

and the fact that pretty much any magic practitioner could be able to draw magic/power/energy from any source.

Is the Void supposed to be the source for all Shadow magic? Is there a difference between Shadow and Shadow (Void)? Regardless it's a place in which magic practitioners are able to harness it's power and use it.

Shamans wield fire, water/ice, earth, wind and these come from the planet itself, if not the Elemental Planes.

Warlocks wield Fel and demons, which primarily come from the Twisting Nether (demons mostly, Fel from simply destroying life)

Mages use the Arcane to also wield fire and frost. The Arcane magic is used as a catalyst to control and wield this fire and frost... but where does it come from? The planet also? The Elemental Planes?

Monks are able to wield "chi" which is just the element of Spirit; and it comes from living beings. It has a source, and is able to be brought out from and used.

Same with Shadow magic. If it is established that all forms of Shadow magic/energy/power is Void magic/energy/power than it comes from that place outside of our physical reality: the Void. Or if any creature of the Void (like voidwalkers, void revenants) exist on Azeroth I am sure you can use them as a source too.

I see the legion as using fel to bend all forms of magic to their will, just like they bend all races to their will. Hence the lich king, frost, fire(orange), shadow magic, undeath, etc.
