Is Affli Lock worth it 3s wise?

I left WoW during 7.1.5, but I felt Affli got really gutted and his movement is poor. He was kinda playable but not really good.

I am thinking of getting back into WoW... is PvP now more balanced?
(I am sspeaking 3s-wise, I don't care much for other forms)
I feel like the only talents that were good are gone now and Warlock's got nothing, I wonder if he's attractive to bring into 3s for his partners or one of those classes like "oh and don't you rather have xy class instead of Warlock? they suck now".


So how are they now?
How's 3s overall?

Well you missed the first two weeks of the season where Afflock spec was arguably the strongest it's been all xpac and definately massively overpowered. That being said they refocused a lot of the broken OP aspects of dot rotting using only instant cast dots, back into stacking UA / drain soul single target damage. Overall aff spec is better then it was last season and still a desirable partner for 3s.
