I think I'm one of the few who enjoyed cataclysm, I liked that they updated the world and I mostly enjoyed my experience at 85.

I do think cataclysm dropped the ball on several things. Making jokes about dumb memes or movie references every other zone was a massive mistake. It made those zones just not feel meaningful at all, when in truth they could have been rich with lore.

Definitely one of the major failures to cataclysm for me anyway.

It'd be like if a action movie was all about the jokes instead of the jokes lightning things up to balance the action.

I only really disliked Uldum and following a guy literally called dumbass, in Vashir. The this is sparta +redshirt combo in Twilight Highland was a bit cringy but sort of funny. What killed Cataclysm for me was the lackluster patch content.

Before WoD came, Cata was the cut content expansion. The best part was that they announced 3 raids for launch: Firelands, Abyssal Maw and War of Ancients. Firelands was released in the second content patch, WoA was a dungeon in the last patch and Abyssal Maw was soloed by Neptulon off screen.

I'm 90% sure the Tides of Vengeance thing was bullshit, yeah...

I'm still hoping the devs who are reading this thread think it's cool enough to change the title to match it because -damn- it's a cool title! It plays into Darkness and War, it plays with the Hand of Vengeance and the idea that Daelin might come back to avenge himself against Rexxar and maybe even his daughter. It's got the Vengeance between Greymane and Windrunner going on.

It's so -packed- that it would be a great name. You hear me devs?! A GREAT NAME!!!

With how professions work now, this wouldnt be needed since professions can be leveled from 1 to max in current content.
