Sure, but it it doesn’t feel right to retcon something that doesn’t need to be retconned.
That was just one example, of the four suspected sub-races, I don’t believe there to be any evidence of Sunwalker Highmountain Tauren.
Also I feel some of the appeal of sub-races, is that they can change up the class/race combos. Something Blizz should’ve been more cognizant of in Cataclysm. Dwarf Shaman being a good example.
we would easily have 5k+ pages if theres was one ACTUAL hint from blizzard via twitter
Also BTW. For anyone discounting a new spec for hunters, Blizzard has done that before.
Guardian Druid in Cata. Before it was part of Feral.
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
This. Plus, they kinda took one of our specs away, with Survival(a pretty massive mistake). They could easily add this, with old SV mechanics. Pretty applicable. Turn old SV into melee+void ranger, like old feral turned into feral+guardian. Plus, when they add new classes, they added 2 to 3 new specs to the game, that don't apply to the other classes. And no one freaks out about that.
Why? We cleansed the Emerald Dream of the Nightmare and defeated Xavius in one tier. We topped the remnants of the Ogre Empire in one tier. We cleansed Pandaria of the Sha in a single tier.
It's pretty common for the initial threat to be dealt with pretty early on as a lead-in to the greater threat. If not what I suggested, then scratch the 3rd tier and move that to the 1st tier of the following xpac. Either way (the pacing isn't important) but rather the notion that all of the fighting we do up to and including N'Zoth was all part of his plan so he could collect as many souls as possible before sacrificing himself to summon the Void Lords. Wasn't that kind of the point of the Void Lords sending the OGs into space in the first place?
Yes but there's a difference between splitting an existing (and admittedly crowded) spec into 2, rather than creating an entirely new spec and only giving it to 1 class. Basically everyone would have to re-roll huntards to experience the new thing they spent the last 1+yr(s) on. Extremely poor design.
No other spec got what SV got. It wasn't "reworked," it's a fully complete brand new spec and role. It went from a ranged spec using dots, to a melee spec with little dots, brand new abilities, talents, rotation, etc. It's a completely new spec. To say it's the same rework as other specs and classes is not comparable, at all.

Just like adding a new class, though. ANd just turn it into splitting old SV into melee and void ranger. Done, same concept.
