Why not make a Discord group instead?

Discord gets kinda laggy and can't really handle the amount of people going "omg" at the same time. It tends to go into catch-up mode where messages stop appearing at the time they were sent and just show up later. This is why we're still going with IRC chat this year (and is what will be on the front page tomorrow).
