I mean a "content drought" was obvious and is a normal thing between expansions. The question is how long that drought will be. Everything less than 12 months will be a "success", 8-10 months would be amazing.

8 - 10 months is cool. But from looking at history, that won't happen, especially as it will be announced at blizzcon.

7.3 is not even out and Blizzard has their own convention to unveil the big stuff.

And before yoou say "Legion", back then we already had the last patch of the worst expansion they had made. Blizzard had to give us somethign new.

MoP was announced at Blizzcon and released end of September, 11 months later. Legion was announced at Gamescom and released 12 months later end of August. I think we'll have a good chance that it will be less than 12 months.
