So... if Blizzard had added new Demon Hunter races, what should they be?

This is purely a hypothetical question. Let's assume that sometime in the future, Blizzard decides to open up Demon Hunters to two more races. (They can work in a gimmick where you play through the DH starting area as a "memory transference" or something so that the new DH races are brought up to speed on the lore.) What two races, one Horde and one Alliance, would you choose and why?

My choices would be:

Alliance: Draenei... they could be former Eredar or just Draenei who turned away from the light.

Horde: Trolls... their ancestral ties to the Elven races of Azeroth make them the best choice in my view.

What say the MMO-C forum?

Don't see Draenei being DHs. The Draenei are the Eredar who didn't take Sargeras' "gift" while the Eredar who did became Man'ari; Should any Draenei become a DH, much like warlocks, they'd probably be either killed or cast out. Draenei tolerate other races using warlocks but they themselves are pretty adamant about not having the dark arts in their ranks.

They won't be as it currently makes no sense. If they do they will have to spin it like the current demon hunters teach the others about their ways. At that point it wouldn't make sense to pick and choose races. It would be everything, just like death knight minus panda.

Orcs and Draenei share history with the illidari and the fel prior many races in Azeroth so it would make sense.

So the same situation most demon hunters were in prior to Legion.

While I don't think there will be new races for demon hunters, I'm going to throw my vote in with orcs and draenei, although I could only dream of gnomes and goblins.
