Blizzard artist teases N'Zoth (Samwise)

Samwise posted some artwork on twitter today. This either lends credibility to and Old God expansion or he's trying to throw people off their scent. Still feels early for this kind of thing, I think they'd want to hold off on the reveal until Blizzcon but maybe they'll do it at Gamescom.

Looks more like Cthulhu than N'zoth, I know that old gods are inspired by Cthulhu mythos, but this artwork has wings which N'zoth has not.

Yeah that's C'thulu not N'zoth. We've already got N'zoth's look from the artwork above, he's a huge squid, no wings.

Yes, but the characters still look the same. The Lich King doesn't suddenly look like a cartoony version of The Black Knight. He still looks like The Lich King. So we can atleast take the artwork as canon.

Hearthstone is able to be different than Canon. The 2 look very similiar (and both very cthulhu like)

Could easily be some minion on N'zoth of high importance that will cause problems and be an end zone quest boss or a dungeon boss or even a raid boss.
Treat him as something like Ozumat i'd say.

hmm. hype marketing strategy. maybe a hint. maybe just nonsense. same stuff as the link to HS on the corrupted jaina thread. we will see. on the other side: no jokes or any deflection in another direction than the old god one. hmm. we will see. but remembering WoD? where everybody thaught eye of aszhara or the south sea xpac? and they came up with some complete different unexpected nonsense stuff. so, we will see.
