Stockpile Champions Gear Uprades for 7.3?

For those who plays around on the PTR, is it worthwhile to start piling up the Champion Gear upgrade as our champions will be able to upgrade to iLvl 950?
I am asking in case that they implemented a new way to get the gear upgrade from 900 to 950...

I wouldn't go so far as to just declare it fact but they did it before and it accomplished exactly what they wanted it to. Even if it's not 100% confirmed there's no rational justification for assuming otherwise.

Old Armor sets, now state "up to 900":

New Armor Sets, no longer incremental but absolute (like those token in WoD):

its not "no longer incremental" same as in wod, these items were rare, but instantly got up to X level
we will most likely get a new token for 900-950, with those instant 925/950 for catchup/instant 950
but i was more of going on how the person showed no evidence

They've made these upgrade items obsolete every time previously, making stockpiling useless. This should also be expected in the future. What would be a surprise, and would warrant asking for "evidence" would be a change to this consistent behavior.

I didn't say that it was like this in WoD, just that such tokens existed then.

Considering the naming of these tokens, Blizzards statements of changing the mission and followers around a bit, and no evidence of new incremental tokens, I do believe that these are the way to go forward.
