Is the BEST Legion Zone --> The Broken Shore?

They're just sooo much more aesthetically pleasing when there's space. In WoD they turned the world into a giant mishmash of cluttered quest zones with caves and mountains everywhere. It's awful.

Many old zones were just walled off flat land with mountains or sea around them. Some plateaus existed but nothing as extreme as highmountain. Most mountains you saw were pure decoration.

Kun'lai summit or Storm Peaks could be an exception.

Mt hyjal to a lesser extent has elevation of course, but across many zones with varying levels.

As a member of this community you have to know that Brokenshore and the Legionfall questline really everything about 7.2 did not have a positive reception.

So when you make a sensationalist declaration that it is the best zone. I feel you need to define why you feel that way. If you can't one might question why you are here creating topics if you cannot articulate your opinions.

Sujramar was the best looking but the rest were just Meh. Terrible terrain design for when you were forced to be on the ground. WQ got very old and stale very quickly. Nothing really stood out and made you Say OMG look at that!

For me it's Valshara, as it's so beautiful. It would be Suramar, but that place was so obnoxious without flying I've come to loathe it. It's beautiful and varied and probably the most ambitious zone Blizzard has ever done, but I just hate it now.

Suramar hands down.

Amazing music, Withered Army was a great idea (yes, it got boring after doing it so many times), the city was gorgeous and great to quest in, Moonguard Stronghold was also great, and the Nightfallen lore overall was astounding.

Stormheim is definitely a runner up, though.

For me its the Broken Shore, so much to do there, lots of variety, fun world quests.

What is the best zone for you? It could be because of aesthetics, you like the world quests there, the atmosphere, etc.

All zones suck, because they are a pain in the ass to navigate without flying.

Tbf, if you have trouble navigating those zones, it's because you're a bad player. The zones shouldn't be designed to hold the hand of players who can't use a map or common sense. Not sure why you expect that of them?

The only zone that is remotely difficult to navigate, is highmountain, and that's only because the paths that lead to the higher parts of the mountains, aren't shown on the map.

You have to understand that most of the people whining about lack of flight have become so spoiled by flight that they are completely helpless on the ground and can't even do something as simple as jumping over branches and rocks.

Sure, dude. I guess there is a skill for not being pissed when you need to take a 5 minutes detour to reach something that would take 10 seconds of flight.

It takes zero skill to have a modicum of awareness of the layout of the zone you are in.

Like.. outside of flying (Which I don't think should be there from the very start of an expansion, especially before we have leveled through the zones) what's the fix to hand hold people who can't work their way around zones? Make every zone flat? How boring.

I never said I didn't like the rest of the zones. I think each zone is amazing in their own right, especially Suramar.

I just happen to think the Broken Shore is the best zone because its easy to navigate, it looks very demonic and on point with the theme of the expansion, with the Tomb of Sargeras on the rock. The world quests are very well done and the questing was and is fun.

Again, not sure why you and others come here bashing me for my opinion.

Best zone by looks and music is Val'Sharah, best zone by story and questing is Suramar. Broken Shore is easily the blandest of them all, I would actually consider it the worst zone in the game.
