Why so many people in the official forum are complaining about the RNG aspect of this ?
If anything it remove the bad luck with relic a little bit no ? Or am I missing something ?

I really fail to see the picture then. How it is more Rng ?
Before the patch, if you get a relic that doesn't have the trait you want, you throw it away.
After the patch, if you get a relic that doesn't have the trait you want, you can plug it into the Netherlight Crucible and maybe get it anyway.
It's a bigger deal for those with outlier traits, not for everybody though. 3 shots at a decent trait is alright
'More chances to get upgrades on loot' can both be a blessing in solo content and a curse in group content.
Imagine you're on the Bench Crew. (Or just not part of the "core raid team".)
The following situation happens:
The relic you want drops! It Titanforges! And gets your best traits!
But oh no, your spec doesn't value traits as highly as another spec in the team...
The first time the relic dropped, they got it.
Second time, warforged, they got it.
Titanforged, they got it.
Titanforged with slightly better traits, they got it.
Titanforged now, again, with better/best traits, now they 're looking to get it again.
Can't you just hear the following?
"But don't worry, when a bad trait version of the Relic drops, that isn't a Warforged, Titanforged, or micro-trait upgrade for anyone in the main team, then you'll get it! I'm sure it'll drop enough times for you to eventually get the relic!"
Imagine. The relic has to drop at all. And not be an upgrade for anyone else - and it can be a micro-upgrade in so many ways. By having so many ways to micro-upgrade gear, sure it gives people a better BiS to look after (gives them something to do) but it also gets in the way of other, less geared players in guilds from ever being able to get anything because "it's an upgrade for someone better in the guild". (Putting aside that these situations aren't ideal, and that people shouldn't put themselves in these situations, but nonetheless they still happen.) Also, the "veterans" in the guild (especially people racing for Realm/World firsts) may be experiencing burn-out, and may just want to get their BiS loot so they can relax until the next raid tier, but "can't" (or feel they can't) because they haven't gotten "the best version of the relic" (and they want to min-max to perform their best for their team, because raiding is a team-based activity where your performance matters and impacts everyone and 0.0-0.2% wipes can and do happen).
i agree with this statement,
any sensible raid leader would be gearing his/her raid ilvl instead of giving relics out on "Trait Alone"
our entire raiding prog has been ilvl/stats over the traits. traits come second to getting the group stats to push gear.
also people will know what traits are BIS for them, and what arent, they should be going off base traits only. not secondary random bonus traits.

Guess we played two different games then.
No, you have NEVER been playing a game this xpac if all you complain about is every grind that you choose to do to the extreme. YOU, you sorry excuse of a gamer, have CHOSEN to turn this entire xpac into a never ending chore and then you blame everyone but yourself for doing that.
WE, almost collectively, have been playing A GAME. something for enjoyment, relaxation and shiggles. YOU have turned it into your own version of hell that you whine about like a spoiled little bitch every single day
and remember, EVERY SINGLE grind in this xpac has been either purely optional (insta max your ap, rep, whatever else people create out of thin air) has been 100% OPTIONAL. every single one of them happens in time on their own by doing your own daily routine in game. anything over that has been of your own damn choice. so grow up and accept the consequences of your damn choice instead of whining like the little bitch you are about it
Never believe you have seen the peak of human stupidity and ignorance, or you will constantly be surprised by the new levels the reach almost every day
The concern I have is not knowing if the new relic that dropped will ultimately be better than what you're already using until you make the decision to destroy your existing one. Sure, if the new one gives an ilvl bump and your best trait it's an easy decision. Realistically, you'll see a bunch around the same ilvl and you will be rolling the dice hoping for prime crucible traits all too often. That is the casino I do not really enjoy ... rolling the dice and not just not getting an upgrade, but ending up with a downgrade.
Some classes are proportionately more enhanced around a smaller number of traits and this will be a bigger deal for those classes.
This is all based on my understanding that you don't know what the crucible traits will be until after you commit to socketing.

Why is this so confusing to you?
It adds another layer of RNG on top of what is already basically RNG.
So the the teeny tiny % of the player base that are min/max nerds view this as half empty - and the vast majority of players that just have fun view this as half full benefiting from having an extra chance at a better trait...seems like another winning addition to the expansion for the vast majority just like TF...
