How to get rid of chat icon?

It is the button that shows some sort of chat log.

Are you using Prat? There should be an option or module somewhere to disable the chat log/copy button

It is ElvUI.

That is the copy chat button. Prat uses it but it looks like ElvUI copied does something similar. You cannot select and copy text in chat, so this button pops up a frame that contains the chat lines currently shown in the chat frame. This popup allows you to select and copy chat lines. Very useful to quote trolls or catch someone going back on what they said by pasting what they said right back into chat. Also useful to copy/paste item names into google instead of stuffing them into short term memory and alt-tabbing.

No, I don't know how to disable it in ElvUI, just look for a copy chat button in the settings.

You can get rid of it by going into the Chat interface for elvui and setting the size to 0, 0.

Not entirely sure what you mean. I don't have this setting in my ElvUI ?

Open the chat LUA file.

Head to line 500.

Change the size to (0, 0).

Save.

Reopen wow. Should find it's gone.

My lua file is showing only 91 lines. Is there a way to get to line 500?
