Why are Monks the least Played Class at lvl.110?

I personally don't care for Windwalker and Brewmaster because they use energy.
I hate energy because it means I can have nothing to press.
Mistweaver is fun, though, because it doesn't use energy anymore.

MW Monks never used energy...are you talking about Chi perhaps?

I like Windwalker because there's ALWAYS something to press if you're playing it correctly.

Monks are seen as fat pandas, and nobody wants to roleplay a fat panda.

It isn't that we don't like the MoP theme, it's just not the theme we would have chosen. We want something cool and badass, not a fat cartoon animal.

Demon Hunter or Kung Fu Panda in 2017, really.

Any race in the game except Goblins and Worgens or forced to play a fkin elf.

I'm really not crazy about Monk. I even enjoy the gameplay, and as others have pointed out their performance is just fine; but the overall style and feel of the class and its abilities I find to be a bit cheesy and ultimately not compelling. If they were not so tied to this vague pseudo-mysticism BS and more focused on concrete martial arts, it would be an easier sell.
