I don't think any of them starved out of reluctance to eat canned meat.
A better thread would've been in times of a Apocalypse, would you eat human flesh or starve?
Can I cook it? If so I have no problem. I get some nice teriyaki sauce maybe some salt and pepper and I can eat it. But most importantly what about water? I can live without food for about a month or so but water is different.
