No Maiev for at least 4 months? That's saddening. Kel'thuzad has been a long time coming though, so I'm happy for those who asked for him.

Also, Nethrezim Jaina is amazing. I hope the skin delivers when/if it is revealed (skin-specific mount having her fly around with her wings... gosh, that would be great!)

New hero looks rather boring to me personally. Am looking forward to a Firebat tho.

Also, the amount of taunts/stuns/chains/etc etc getting into the game is not healthy. Again, just my personal opinion.

What makes me scratch my head is they have run into this problem in their other games pvp, and thus did a 180 (like diminishing returns for example), yet for some reason they repeating are history.

Mark my words; at some point in the future, and I don't know when, you are going to see a total revamp of "loss of control" effects in this game.

While I think the dreadlord!Jaina meme is the most ridiculous, stupidest meme I had to have heard coming out of WoW (and I blame both Jesse Cox - for starting the whole thing - and Blizzard - for pandering it to hell and back to the point where I wanted to scratch out the dreadlord entry in WoW Chronicles Vol. 2), I will admit that that dreadlord skin is quite eyecatching. But I will forever hate that meme and any such memes that Blizzard shills into the ground, just like that Crotchety Axe Guy (or whatever it's called), Illidan's "be prepared" and Kael'thas' "setback" quotes, etc. If they can keep dreadlord!Jaina relegated to non-canon sources (and at least have a dreadlord impersonate Jaina instead of her "being" one, if that's going to explain her flip-flopping personality in WoW), then I'm cool with it, but man, do I absolutely HATE jokes/memes that get shoved down my throat and in my face. It's probably why I can bear ETC and Murky (to a degree; how am I supposed to take a baby murloc bent on vengeance seriously?) but not Falstad's "I'm not dead, I'm a survivor!" shtick.

OT: I figured Kel'Thuzad would be anything but an assassin or tank, but that's okay. First impressions so far is that, unless I see his talent kit and try himself myself, he seems to be standard fare. I'll wait and see before making any more comments (other than WOW, can I say how beautiful that Star Lich skin of his is?).

I have nothing to add in regards to leaked heroes like the Firebat (never played Diablo or SC). I want to be surprised.

Also, WTB in-game spray of Hammer socking nerubian!Zagara. That made my day.

the problem is that no amount of CC added to the game adds anything. If you can already have a full roster of CC wielding heroes , which is easy because you just need 5 heroes, then anything added is moot. thats also why the idea of having heroes having similar abilities is moot, because that is ideal.. That like... "you pick kel'thuzad if you want someone with chromie's skill shots but Jaina's CC". thats the point its ideal to have heroes with overlap so that people have multiple choices when wanting something. There are multiple minion masters, multiple ranged solo specialists, multiple ranged assassins, multiple casters, multiple CC heavy casters, multiple burst casters, ect

Similarly while the roster of champions increases the match will ALWAYS be 5 againt 5 and they even made it so the matchmaking will only put together warriorvswarrior and support vs support. If you go against a team with heavy CC then you pick the talents you've been ignoring that help with that, or alter your play style and play less ricky moves.

its an objectively good thing to have variety in a game like this and there will be no more than 5 heroes you face that can CC you. so it wont matter if in 20 years there are 30 characters who can stun you. first time you get stunned, you remember to remember that character can do that till the end of hte game at least
