    Destiny 2 hype?

So who here is looking forward to the beta?

Even though I enjoyed Destiny 1 after 2 additional years of development after release.. I believe I'm actually going to hold out and wait for reviews on Destiny 2 post release before I purchase anything. I also think I may actually skip the beta entirely.

They should have made the days over the weekend

Does not even feel like a new game more like a expansion, no new classes for example.

Though i will try the beta on pc and see if i like it, i did enjoy the first but got bored pretty quick.

Dont like that they changed the player cap in pvp either, something like 3vs3 now or something? way way way to low.

Never played the first as first person shooters on console just isn't my thing but will try out the beta and then decide if I like it or not.

The majority sentiment seems to be a "fool me once" wariness. After the last time in todays climate people are real wary. Brand loyalty doesnt go as far as it used to, especially for activision.

Bare in mind there are pc only gamers who think its an open world borderlands but the people who know remember reactions like this:

Okay online shooters, they all like mmo's claim to be the next big thing.

If you want to spend 50 euros, dollars or whatever your currency is for about a month or two of being part of the next new thing, buy into the hype.
If your intend is to replace this as your main source game time for the remainder of the year, wait a month, if you are more after a quality game and not simply want to be part of the latest newest thing and just have it cause its new. Wait a month.

That's all you need to know really. These games will always be crowded at launch and they all seem to shrink in population rather fast. So i would just wait.

I'll think on checking it someday after it goes on a GOTY edition, and i bet it wont even have all its dlc
Cod has a new campaign, new weapons, new multiplayer levels every year. Zelda has been recycling the same weapons, villains, and dungeons since the 80's. Zelda recycles enough to make cod blush. The same weapons, villains, dungeons, and princess in every single Zelda for the most part. It's almost as cheesy as bowser vs Mario round 35

That's going to be the best part, when the PC player base who jumps on this thinking it's the next best thing because they haven't had a bungie game since Halo 2 start to realize that it's simply not a good game.

There are good things about Destiny, unfortunately the negatives outweight the positives and what they showed of Destiny 2 looks more like a new paint job rather then replacing the car with something good.

The problem is Bungie is doing a terrible job hyping the game up. They are refusing to show a lot of the new stuff because they want it to be a surprise. I will buy Destiny 2 because I liked Destiny 1 so why wouldn't I enjoy Destiny 2?

about zero... first one sucked and was overhyped... same here probably.

I have a coworker who is super in to Destiny and will definitely be getting Destiny 2, so if it turns out to be fun, I might check a look.

As a PC gamer I am mildly interested in it. Not going to buy it day one or anything, but after a few months if the reviews are good I will probably check it out.

Won't lie, I'm glad the pc version comes a month after the console version, and glad I can use my wow gold to buy it. So while I'm not entirely hyped for it cause of destiny 1, the fact that this will cost me literally $0.00 out of pocket I'll pick it up.
