I hope the main villain of the next expansion isn't N'zoth.

I hope it ends up being 0% of the expansion but if I'm wrong you know blizzard they really like to take a theme and shove it down people's throats until it makes you nauseous to look at (see: orcs)

I don't care much about the tentacle monster, but i agree that naga and azhara are about the least interesting villains in the game. I'd honestly rather face a murloc uprising.

And that to me makes it sound like he isn't weak at all. Strength isn't just measured in brute force. There is a reason hes the last alive Old God and was never imprisoned.

Also how do we know in brute force terms he hasn't gotten more powerful.

To a lot of people, strength is only measured in your ability to win a fight. N'zoth hasn't really won anything and he couldn't even beat the other Old Gods in a 1v1 war if he tried. The thing is, though, that he lost on purpose knowing he couldn't win. I don't think people value this sort of strategy as much. To me, if he's the only Old God who was smart enough to escape death and the only one to be smart enough to sneak out of his prison from right under our noses using US no less, then he's the most dangerous.

I'd say a person's danger is not always measured by their strength. The stupid brute who can smash your face in and kill you with one punch SEEMS like the most dangerous. How many serial killers do you know who fit that description, though? N'zoth might be the weakest but he's certainly the most dangerous.

An old god is never going to be the main villain of an xpack simply because my forum avatar wouldn't make for very good box art. N'zoth's expack's main villain would obviously be Azshara.

nzoth is too small to be the main villain of an expo.

Since they reduced old gods in power from omnipotent down to ticks that titans can pluck with fingers, the old gods just suck.

During cataclysm old gods were still represented as the most powerful beings so they were worthy main villains, but that is completely not the case anymore.

Titans could pluck deathwing and arthas too

Because he is the smartest (or most cunning) of the old gods. And it's pretty hard to fight an old god thats hidden beneath the sea.

He might not be a powerful fighter (like Lich King) but his other skills make up for that. And nothing stops Blizzard from boosting him with some plot. Devouring other old gods bodies for a power up is an option.

I want corrupted Azeroth as the final boss of the next expac.

Save N'zoth for the Mid boss expac, and Azshara for the end 8.0 boss.

I think Onyxia is dead dead, since she's been resurect by Nefarian in Cataclysm and she didn't look in shape. And in the encounter, when she dies her bones melted in the lava pool. So I think there's nothing left from her
