As to not jeopardise any of my all time fave IPs, I'd have to say a Mass Effect meets Looper could be some cool story telling opportunities.

If I was gonna slap two big things together though, it'd be Star Wars meets X-Men. (Specifically KOTOR meets X-Men Legends 2, basically I'm asking for a 4 player isometric top down Star Wars game with Wolverine and Colossus in it.)

Actually the Dune\Battletech idea is pretty good. The universes would actually merge fairly well structure wise with all of warring factions etc.. Hmm, I rather like that.
