Can't speak for anyone else, but I've no problem with overweight women in general. My issue is when people feel the need to express the "every woman is beautiful" garbage. I have a very fat friend. One time when we went on vacation together i kept track of how much he ate. He used to say i probably ate more food than him. ( i eat a lot because i lift) I was shocked at the amount of calories he stuffed in his mouth over a day. He was pretty much always eating something and his hotel room was stacked with candy, potato chips and stuff. He probably ate 5-6k calories a day and he wondered why he kept gaining weight. lol.

Not sure why you're quoting me i never contested any of this nor i do believe that being fat is good. I pointed out she looks happy in the photos and that's good for her. I'm a fat dude that passed from 107 kg to 83 so I'm well aware of all the above I just do not feel like I have to make a case on this every time some image of an overweight/obese person comes up like some sort of vegan stereotype and i like to comment on the positive things i see from time to time instead of focusing exclusively on the negative

I don't need a MD to notice obesity rate progression in the past decades. Just consulting then is enough to notice how they went from negligible to 60 %+ in some countries.
From there, you can either claim that the DNA of humanity changed following the borders of some countries, or you can think and deduce it's got a lot more to do with living habits. Your choice.

With the disclaimer that life takes odd turns, I agree with you. I simply find that life is often more complex than the sort of simple slogans that things get boiled down to. For me, 2.1 has a problem that's on the other end of the scale -- she's tiny and when run through the shower she comes out looking uncomfortably young, to the point that at one time it was almost a deal breaker. Seven years later, I've gotten used to it, that's just the way she looks.
