Can you get Legendary Items from doing PvP?

Ive done quite a bit of PvP and haven't seen any legendaries. Am I just unlucky?

Got my first Legendary from PVP in a random BG

Yes you can Jay. Got a legendary on my Hunter from a Brawl and then one on my Druid from a random BG.

Was it from a win box? How did it drop into your inventory? Just winning the match?

Yes I got like 2 from random battleground. Auto-looted at the end.
