~2,000-3,000 a month is what a low effort google search showed. Shout out to being 20 minutes from Facebook.
In my Town in Sweden its about 450$ för a 1 bedroom but if you want 1 in the city center it's gonna be double that
P.s I live in one of Sweden's larger cities so it's not a small town or anything

Portland is retarded. You fucks are even driving up the prices down here in Salem. I pay way too much for a roach motel.
Unreason and anti-intellectualism abominate thought. Thinking implies disagreement; and disagreement implies nonconformity; and nonconformity implies heresy; and heresy implies disloyalty — so, obviously, thinking must be stopped. But shouting is not a substitute for thinking and reason is not the subversion but the salvation of freedom. - Adlai Stevenson
In my area, $1500+ for a one-bedroom and $2000 for a two-bedroom. Luckily, I own, and pay less than that per month in mortgage+taxes+HOA. When I moved to the area and was renting six years ago, it was only $1200 for a two-bedroom.
3375 DKK ( $507ish ) for a 52 square metre 2 bedroom apartment in the largest city of the region, which doesn't say much as it only has a population of approximately 25.000 people
It swings pretty drastically here. Atlanta metro is basically measured by 2 things: Inside the Perimeter (ITP), and Outside the Perimeter (OTP). The Perimeter being I-285 which runs a circle around Atlanta. OTP, you are looking at maybe $600-$900 for a 1br, depending on how nice the complex is. ITP you can expect to pay upwards of $2000 or more for a 1br, depending on the neigborhood.
The thing that really pisses me off is that the people who don't make any money and rely on the government get better quality apartments than me for less.
Premium newly built apartment in a prime location with all the amenities for 600-700 a month and I'm not allowed to live there because I make too much money. No sir because I make too much money I have to go live adjacent to the ghetto.
Bullshit.
1bdrm is about 1200-1800 2bdrm is about 1500-4000 3 bdrm is about 2600-6000
So when I left the The Bay Area (San Mateo 7 years ago) My rent was 1350 for a 1.5 bedroom basement apartment in a old Victorian house. When I got to Miami my rent was 650 for a studio(in 2011) and then when I got to San Marcos TX I was paying 850 for a low income 2 bedroom apartment (granted the place looked really nice but it wasnt maintained at all, moved there in 2012-2016) and now I live 20 mins from downtown Seattle and my rent is 1850.
I can not make the rent on my own, I blame microsuck and amazon on rent being so expensive
Would you guys feel uncomfortable paying 34% of your gross income on rent not including utilities. Let's say you have 350 total in other bills?
Portland, OR is quickly sky rocketing in cost of living, We have an office there and 2 of my team work there and talk about it. Around here you can find a decent place for 100 USD per sq/ft. Bit more if you want options like garage, gym, pool etc... However i prefer to buy long as I will be in the area for at least 5 years as i'm in a 1400 sq/ft house for 900 a month. A few more years i'll either add on to the house or move. My commute is about 35-45 mins each way, closer to my office and prices go up fast.

I would KILL to only have to pay 34% in rent. I'm currently paying over 75% in rent. My utilities and bills come to about $330. At the end of the month I'm left with less than $200 to live on, which is surprisingly not that much. But again I'm one person paying for a 2 room apartment.
Google informs me the average for a two bedroom apartment in my area is about $1,700.
We own our home. I don't know if that rent average is accurate or not.
Average is $750, range is from $500-2000.
I hate renting. Buying outright is not something everyone can do, but even a mortgage doesn't feel quite like throwing money out a window plus it provides a tax benefit.
Austin TX, normal average 1 bedroom apartments vary from 750 - 2000 U$D a month pending where you are.
Downtown with a view, vs. burbs with no view (cost)
Austin isn't cheap by any means..
I got a buddy I chat with all the time on WoW that lives in the middle of TN.. states he pays 500/month for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment.. I pay 1000 for 1 bedroom 1 bath in Austin TX
Around $1400 you can get a decent one or two bedroom apartment.
Anything less you will most likely find in a shady neighborhood with high crime.
