    The IS claims are sketchy.

ISIS in recent months has made a number of demonstrably false claims for attacks and incidents that had no jihadi terror nexus.
Exhibit A of a false ISIS claim was their claim for attack on Manila, Philippines casino resort in June. ( was an indebt gambler)
Exhibit B of a false ISIS claim was their claim to have smuggled explosives into CDG airport in Paris last month. ( was a drunk woman being abusive after being denied a flight)
ISIS, desperate for attention, will claim just about anything these days knowing their supporters won't believe government/media.
I can't think of a single case in which a jihadi terrorist shot themselves dead after an attack. A big theological no no for jihadis.
Jihadis make distinction between suicide, which they believe forbidden by Islam, and death as byproduct of "martyrdom" bombing/attack.

Be keen to see what the police turn up when they start going through his phone/computers etc

I just read that the murderer converted to Islam months before the shootings.

For those that wonder Dubai is a layover destination for European travel to or from Australia it is also a holiday destination for a shitload of americans just behind the UK in number of tourists yet american tourists are the biggest spenders while staying there.
Also the Dubai is the 4th most visited city in the world the others being London, Paris & Bangkok.

But guess that if you are brown you are automatically a member of islam and hell bent on converting white men to the cause.
Dubai is also the worlds busiest airport. If you have any transfer between eastern and western continents, chances are its through Dubai. Its also 95% immigrants, a large proportion from western countries.

I wonder how he did get that weapon and if he really had planned something. Or having the weapon was the trigger to just do something with it.

So the person you jumped in to defend you also called an idiot? Interesting.

Again, other that you continuing the conversation, what does this have to do with Trump? I'm not sure why you're so hung up on him in this incident. I mean "your stance in the Politics dumping ground" shows a clear obsession with him, but he clearly has NOTHING to do with this. Not sure why people like you have to turn this into a political shit-fest before there's even and inkling of evidence. Trump supporters will be Trump supporters I guess.

So if you have no point, take your own advice and "shut up", and move on.

He had at least 10 guns in the hotel, this was definitely planned in advance.

Cuz they only care about their own person n want to avoid risks, so safer to run, won't try to take out shooters to save other people cuz could get shot himself..

In the aftermath - as the usual suspects and the media fall all over themselves with their rush to cry for more "GUN CONTROL" - the Puerto Rico fiasco caused by the dipshit Mayor of San Juan has been knocked right off the front page of ALL of the MSM sites.

mate, wait for actual confirmation. By spreading this shit you are doign what ISIS want.

They claim credit for everything, they want everythign to be seen as muslims vs everyone else, thats literally their strategy.......they would claim credit for me stubbing my toe earlier if they knew about it.....

You realize he was 32 stories up in a building across an 8 lane motorway with multiple high-powered rifles shooting into an unarmed crowd?

Pushing a political agenda and making jokes after 50+ people just got murdered is trashy at best.

    "deranged crazy old man".....

So white people crazy to do this....coloured people are not and acting to a prepared agenda...interesting.

I know its not what you said, and I am being unfair, but the words used were interesting.

Yeah, the people in the rooms next to him must have thought he had his TV really loud.

What exactly is their political aim with this attack? To me it looks like an american going apeshit with a gun, you know, like so many others in the past have done.
Mass attacks are more likely to be of terrorist nature in Europe but in US just another angry dude that want to vent cuz his life sucks, shooting up others

i'll go with angry dude until proven otherwise, I usually go with the most likely scenario

Your persecution complex was hungry this morning, eh? Better feed it.

Let's take a look at Fox, shall we? http://www.foxnews.com/ What's that? Wall to wall coverage of last night's attack? Color me shocked.

I agree - he looks more like James Hodgkinson, the guy that terrorized the Republican Congressmen.

Makes one wonder, why we haven't heard anything from other hotel quests yet? Were everyone in n room radius from him down in the bar or something?
