They're too small a group for their "boycott" (since most of the ones bitching about it will likely buy it anyway, as is how most "boycotts" especially in gaming end up) for it to matter.
You're getting exactly what you deserve.

This one doesn't annoy me so much as it's a company trying to sell a product - marketing is scummy and that's nothing new.

    Will still get the game.
It's a sequel of a game where you killed... wait for it... nazis. And no one gave a fuck before.

It's almost like the outcry from those tweets are from people tired of the current political climate and how frequent it is to politicize everything - and not of the fact that nazis are the target.

    Shocking. I know~

sounds like they are politicizing it because this is the game where you killed Nazis since a while ago.

It's a smart use of marketing.

Linking the current political issues and slogans into a game where you literally kill Nazis.

    -

From that to linking the people to actual nazis, labeling them as such, is quite the stretch though. But good job~

And yet it's about... killing nazis. This time in America.

Only the special snowflakes are getting triggered, the rest just want the sequel to be as good as the first Bethesda Wolfenstein.

Fuck, for years we had Nazis, Russians and North Koreans as enemies in FPS.

The slogan was adapted for an in-universe (for the game) slogan that I think everyone can get behind. It was not meant to be taken literally for meatspace. If anything, I'd have guessed that the positive spin for the slogan in the Wolfenstein universe would have pleased folks, but I guess not : /

But I mean, I guess a lot of folks are just looking for any excuse they can to get outraged over anything.

Spin it whatever you want - people on those tweets clearly mention how tired they are of people politicizing everything nowadays. That tweet was obviously linking the game to the current media frenzy around Trump slogans and Nazi fear-mongering.

Call them triggered, call them Nazis, call them whatever you want~

There is no way to spin, they got triggered with the 10th sequel of a well know franchise of killing Nazis. Or are you also demanding "safe spaces" for "trigger words"?
