The slogan was adapted for an in-universe (for the game) slogan that I think everyone can get behind. It was not meant to be taken literally for meatspace. If anything, I'd have guessed that the positive spin for the slogan in the Wolfenstein universe would have pleased folks, but I guess not : /

Spin it whatever you want - people on those tweets clearly mention how tired they are of people politicizing everything nowadays. That tweet was obviously linking the game to the current media frenzy around Trump slogans and Nazi fear-mongering.
