The white house said there is no recording. So the "proof" Trump has is just others backing his story, like usual. The congresswoman's proof also most likely is the other people in the car agreeing with her claim. The white house does not deny what he said, just the context.

Having worked Hospice and helping families when their loved one dies in front of them I have learned at least one thing. When someone is stricken with that level of grief you A: console them, B: shut the fuck up if you are unable to do A.
