a novel new knife maybe? last year I got a utility/throwing knife. and for my birthday I got a combination flashlight and knife. I use the flashlight more than the knife bit, and one should always keep a knife(in my case, either the light, or my trusty swiss army.) on them, never know when you'll need one, and while fate favors the bold, luck favors the prepared.
