In one of the European countries that regulate prostitution I'd wager the chance of getting STDs from a legal prostitute (there are also illegals; mostly victims of human trafficking but also some escorts who want to protect their anonymity) is probably much lower than from a random girl/guy you met at a bar tbh.

I can tell you it's true. I know 2 or 3 people that have done this, both in a hotel after landing as in the air.
