That certainly wasn't my experience on NeoGAF. It certainly held political biases, but its strict moderation helped keep spam (which is a really bad problem on this site) and insults to a minimum.

I hope a replacement appears soon. I'm having difficulty finding a general gaming forum of the same quality.

You have no idea. People refused my buy nier unless they put in pants dlc. Some guy thought russia leaked pokemon sun and moon early to get millennials to not go to the polls so trump could win. The majority of Gaf loved Nier: Automata. It was right up their alley: on PS4, single-player, made for multiple playthroughs, and created by Platinum Games. The only major complaints were forwarded towards the PC version as it ran poorly on launch and basically ignored by the devs.
