Tbf so far you havent missed out on a whole lot. Gnomer was(is) a decent raid, but its not really that big of a deal. Same with BfD. I never stressed in either phases to reach max level quickly.

But yeah, it gets more and more tedious to reach whatever current max level is. Im setting my goals low in phase 3. Reach 50 and do ST a couple of times. Prio to be 60, cause thats when the fun part really starts kicking off. Heck, there might even be a surprise or two waiting!

Also you can run bfd and gnomer for leveling up and in the case of gnomer probably also get a few pre-bis gear pieces.

Fomo design is really low with SoD which is great.

That is kinda the point.
Get the worst dungeons and re-work them into actual do-able raids.
would you rather they DIDNT rework sunken temple, and you had to actually do it normally?

I'd rather see reworked dogshit and generally hated dungeons than changing beloved and still used ones anyway.
Otherwise we would have for example SM raid and Gnomeregan still absolutely forgotten as a 5man.

Pretty sure there's gonna be a P4, which will be the last phase. It's Level 25 -> Level 40 -> Level 50 -> Level 60. Pretty sure, at least.

If it will go well and the realms are populated i am preety sure there will be more phases at least at level 60.

For sure. I did BfD the most while leveling and not while when max level was 25. So thats quite nice!
