True enough, but if rage generation is a true issue with TG (2 of the same speed weapons, hitting at the same time, means you'll go from 0 to 100 rage, but 0 in the 3.6-3.8 in the middle), they might amend it, and at this point, I already have my shoulders, so there's not much else to bother with on that char other than Wrath preparation.

That's 2x2H cost + 1300.

well, if you say you have one two-hander and two onehanders, warriors can say just as easily that we need a mace (2on2) and sword (5on5) already + ranged weapon to perform optimally.

I may be ignorant of something Hunters specifically need a 2H for over 2x1H, can anyone enlighen me?

For the sake of aurgument I'm going to assume its for something really minor like a slight stat increase, or higher mongoose hits or whatever, so on that basis I'm going to exclude it.

All a Hunter really NEEDs is:

Ranged: 3750
2x1H: 2000
=5750

Now to be fair a warrior doesn't NEED a ranged, its just a stat bonus so I'll exclude that too. However a warrior does need a shield for protection against getting focus fired.

So what a Warrior NEEDs is:

2x2H = 7500
Shield = 1875
=9375

If you really want to strip it right down to main weapons only:

Hunter:
Range: 3750

Fury Warrior:
2x2H = 7500

Rogue (or another DW):
MHxOH = 3750

The above is what I think Bliz is going to look at, and I see a reduced cost off hand only 2H for Fury warriors being likely. I think it's still going to be more expensive than most other classes (full price MH reduced OH) but not double like it is now.

What is the disadvantage of having 2x2h. because if you're stats are gonna be 2 to 3 times better than say a DW rogue, based on the fact 1 2h wep usually has better "stats" than the combined 2 1h's.

a lot of fury warriors duel wield that pvp weapons... they paid full price for both 1 handers ( beucase u dont want the 1.5 speed obv ) so it would make since for warriors to do the same with the 2 handers. its the price you pay sometimes.

1) You dont get axe/sword spec
2) You dont get sweeping strikes
3) You either dont get full deep wounds or you dont get anger management
4) You dont get to heroic strike nearly as much (this is HUGE, not negligible at all)
5) You suffer from incredible rage inconsistency. MH + OH swing with 2H both critting can give more than 100 rage which means you necessarily lose some of it due to cap at 100

Not meaning to sound condescending here, but suddenly being at max rage after a double-autoattack is now a bad thing because you -could- have been at more than 100 rage? You're still left with a full ragebar after those attacks and there are very few things in this game more dangerous than a warrior with full rage.
