25-man's loot better than 10-man's?

We know there will be 10-man versions for the 25s and we know the loot will be better in 25s. But why? Well, a 10-man version of the instance must be as difficult as the 25-man version, since it is tunned for 10 men, so why can't ppl get the same loot? I just hate raiding with so many ppl and I love the 10-mans. You can talk, know new friends, pug... u can't pug a 25-man and I want to know new ppl. I guess the best part of an online game is to make new friends. What is the fun about raiding every weekend with the same group: ur guild? I'm sure there is a lot of ppl who prefer 25s over 10s, so they will do it with 24 friends, but a lot of ppl (like me) prefer raiding in a smaller group... and I want to get the same loot
Really, I see no need for worse loot in 10-mans. This should be just a matter of preference.

the answer is simple really. Blizzard is placating the current heavy raiding community that want to have better gear because they have superior organization skills.

I completely agree with you that I would like to have 10 mans just be harder than 25 mans and have the same loot. but since that's not happening, I have to train 15 idiots every 6 months and carry them across the finish line.

My shoulders are starting to hurt.

due the fact 10 man`s are easier. I have always said i would one shot every bosses in game if i could play all 25 chars effectively same time, and tbh I`m propably not too wrong with that statement. As an example: have you ever been in challenging 5-man instance?

I totally agree with you. Although we may be in the minority, I'd take a 10 man over a 25 man anyday. I have so much fun with Kara; it takes 5 minutes to form a group. I like Gruul but it takes FOREVER to get everyone going. I think the loot should be the same although less of a drop obviously due to the reduced group size.

i agree. Why would you want to do a 25man when you could just do a 10man. i have more fun in 10man then 25.

id also rather have shorter raids without so many trash mobs.

Also would be neat if all the loot would be in box just before the boss so you could gear up for the new encounter.

OP - you are an idiot. Kara is a 10 man, SSC is a 25 man. Should the same loot drop in Kara and SSC? Obviously not - its called progression.

If you stopped to think, you'd realize that this sort of thing is already in the game - they just aren't the SAME dungeon with the SAME bosses. But this doesn't make it any different loot-wise.

Now that I think about it I agree that harder instances should have better gear. I want to look at some guy with awesome gear and say to myself,

"myself, that guy must have riden through hell and back to get such awesome gear. Good for you man! Congrats!"

Due to the difficulty involved in many nerds together and working towards goals in a cohesive manner without a 'spergetastrophe, the loot from 25-man raids will be superior to those garnered in 10-man raids.

No one wants to hear it.

No one wants to give you a cookie because you are willing to put effort into organizing 25 people via a guild website, in-game calander mods, endless drama over who is scheduled for when, etc.

Casuals don't want the game to be easier; they enjoy a challenge like anyone does.

Casuals DO want to avoid the headache of organizing raids. Why? Because it's organizing shit... it's not playing a game.

Maybe thats why they are adding in-game raid calendar and scheduler. And is truly signing on the raid which takes around 15 second of your time that big deal?

I can only play for 30 minutes a week, I should still get the same loot everyone works for. If I can solo it, all the better. 10-man versions of every raid is not casual enough, we want solo dungeons. I want to solo Arthas and get the same loot the 25-man version drops. Hell, I can't be bothered with that, make the rats in the Deeprun Tram drop epics, no wait that's not enough, make them drop legendaries. Because we casuals deserve better.

I, for one, am actually advocating that 10 man content be MORE difficult than 25 man content. That why you get better rewards but fewer people could actually complete it.
