PTR 3.0.2 Available, 8926 new mounts

Circle of Healing (Holy): Now works on any targets in the caster's raid, and is now a "smart" heal and chooses the lowest health targets to heal first within its range. Also now has a 6 second cooldown. Also no longer will heal summoned Snakes from Hunter's Snake Trap.

I hope that info about 6s cooldown is mistake.

This patch is nowhere near complete (just look at the water in the canals when you login), so this will probably be on the PTRs for at least 2 months.

Anyone else not able to download the patch for the live game through the background downloader?

I think the main reason for releasing it early to the PTR is to rain the parade for the WAR launch a bit.

you need to run blizzard updater.exe in that directory, it installs a new ptr client.

Not true if 3.0.2 goes live before the end of September.

And Blizzard can push Wrath into 2009 if they want to.
Early in the year they said it would be released in 2008, later they said it wouldn't be *before* Q4. They never reaffirmed the 2008 release window.

2008 is the dead line... I think its quite impossible a 2009 release date.

IMHO the 3.0 will go live just before the Blizzcon, around 6 or 7 october... nearly after 1 mounth WotLK will be avaible in the stores.
So, 4 november is a realistic date.

polar bears aren't white, thats a reflection off the snow, they're hairs are actually clear.
