Useless? THIS IS UBEEEEEEEEEER!
I mean, it is a nice addition - ever seen your HoJ removed by the trinket? Or lasting 1 second due to DR?

why they dont make it a new spell it will be way better
If something is immune to the stun portion, HoJ will still interrupt spellcasting. Nice PvE buff, still nice for PvP if some caster goes immune to stun via Diminishing Returns and they're halfway through casting something important.
Great change, just what they needed in fact. Just note it is an interupt not a 3 second silence
hoj is allredy an interupt i dont understand why they add interupt effect on it
Because you can't stun lots of Mobs/Bosses, but you can interupt then
useless in pvp...
k explain me why its good in pvp
hoj stun for 6sec
it just prevent mage blink for 3 sec can you tell me another use for this
What part of this sentence do you not understand? Seriously, it's not that hard.Originally Posted by artass

Silence and Interrupt are not the same thing. Silence, you can bubble out of, or ice block, etc. Interrupts lock out the school of magic the caster was currently casting. If they weren't casting anything, interrupt portion does nothing.
So, if a mage is casting a fireball or not casting anything and you hoj, they CAN blink out of it.
If a mage is casting arcane missiles and you hoj, they CANT, because AM is arcane as is blink.
A nice scenario might be if you hot a holydin while it's casting, it can't bubble for 3 seconds. It can trinket, but can't do anything after that, etc.
if u can't see how useful this is in pve or pvp....god bless u
awesome ability, before pally's were horible on bosses that neede dto be interupted since they are imune to stun, or most are anyway. This now gives pally's the ability to not only stun in pvp and trash in pve but also interupt spell cast by mobs that are imune to stun, this is a huge ability for pallys. People have been asking for an interupt for pally's, thank you very much blizzard for giving us this, it shows that you are listening.

Its the same ability as before but with an ADDED ability. This won't work well against mages, but it will work great against healers or single school classes.

I think also druids can't use barkskin if you catch them on cyclone.
If anyone uses their trinket to get out of the stun they are still interrupted, same thing if your HoJ is dispelled.
With all anti-stun talents reducing duration stuns will often last less than a second in PvP. Also, if the stun resists you still interrupt.
so if it says interrupts spellcasting, then thats all spells that caster has.
at no point does it say "school x" like counterspell does.
at least, thats my interpretation.
