New Hit Rating?

With the removal of precision all together, I was curious if a ret pallies hit cap would remain the same or if it would scale up as you level up. I know that 5% hit is the cap against targets of the same level as you but once we hit 80 and are raiding against bosses that I assume will be at a max level of 83, does the hit rating then go back to 8%? If so, what is the actual new hit rating number?

I hope this helps. At 80, 294 Hit rating caps 2h/yellow attacks.

well i have 153 on live and its over 9% just barely.

soooo... and in the upcoming patch while being level 70? Hit rating should be 90~100 ?

now you need 95 hit rating for 6% , with precision not to ever miss , total is 9%
so before wlk you'll need 95 + 45 (3%) = 140 hit rating to be capped .
As for wlk , 37.1 hit is 1% . so till 9% its somewhere arround 300ish

Ah that's good so I already capped hit rating with only equipment + food (I hate to put 8 points in protection for this precision).
