Question for geared Ret Pally on Beta or PTR

What is your melee crit compared to your healing crit?

Ret pallys melee crit come from mostly +crit rating. If a Ret Pally has 35% melee crit rating from +crit gear, that means you have roughly 30% healing crit. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i got 32% meleecrit and 25% spellcrit unbuffed on ptr with like 2k AP

my max FoL crit during a gruul raid was like 3.3k - pretty nice

I'm pretty sure you will see a slight difference in melee and spell crit % due to base stats.

Agility will still affect melee crit and int will affect spell crit; seeing as how Blizzard has removed most int from plate gear you are bound to have more agi due to gear/chants/gems and will see more melee crit than spell crit.

This also applies to shaman after the new stat system.

I love that someone is kind enough to reply to this sort of thing ...so instead of making another thread i thought i'd add my two Q's to this one

What kind of white damage does a pvp geared ret pally hit cloth for at level 80 ? No crits, no abilities, just the basic white swing

and the same question regarding Judgments command/blood

    Thanks in advance

I quoted this one as a proof that speccing ret actually has some influence on IQ.
How does resilience affect your noncrit damage?

Ah my bad. Post deleted. I was writing in response to another thread in the wrong thread.

average white swing... non crit... vs a lv 1 critter(0 resiliance, 0 armor) while geared with the premade lv 80 pvp stuff

    1200 dmg(without vengeance)

so 1957 armor(buffless priest in full premade 80 pvp gear) 11.38% mitigation

means it would be a 1063.44 dmg hit
