Scribe benefit is the shoulder enchants, as well as the Scribe only OHs.
If you set a man a flame, you keep him warm for a day. If you set a man aflame, you keep him warm for the rest of his life.

All professions have been "aligned", with the exception of engineering and tailoring to give an equivalent of ~32 stat points as their craft's special.
So, scribes get a shoulder enchant, nothing else.
Aside bind on pickup stuff.
