Thank you. I knew DPS specs with a high standard deviation in output also were very "RNG" dependent, but now the acronym makes sense.

eclipse has a 60% chance on a wrath crit to get a starfire eclipse, yet it takes 10 crits to get it to proc, thus suckass rng.

I am a fire mage using FFB and my DPS is dependent on Hot Streak procs which is 2 crits in a row. Sometimes my %crit is > 65%, sometimes it is < 50%. And my DPS swings wildly as a result. So yea, very RNG dependent, especially on the shorter fights.
