Why on earth does it work on overheal? It's one of most imba glyphs for all classes :O

It works on overheal because the splash is not smart. It's random.

But such short range kinda makes it smart anyway Usually people close to eachother get aoe.
Still something's fishy bout that glyph.

No.

Does splash heal beaconed target? I mean, assuming tank has beacon on him, and you heal OT and 5 melee around (all in range of beacon), will MT get both HL, and every small heal from splash?

Nope. Beacon only works off of direct heals. So, as a related example, for the old glyph that turned FoL into a HoT - the HoT ticks didn't count to Beacon.
