Next upgrades

Hi,

Can you help me with the next upgrades for raiding?

I have 40 emblems of heroism and 20 emblems of valor.

Unfortunately what one doesn't see is I'm using outfitter to use a second set (less violet more blue) to get to 307 hit. I generally equip it only for bosses.

- Is replacing Cannoneer's Fuselighter http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44013 with The Egg of Mortal Essence http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40685 a good use of 40 emblems of heroism?
Or should I wait to get 60 and replace my Ebonweave Robe http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42101 with the Heroes' Plagueheart Robe http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39497 ?

Regarding emblems of valor I was thinking about waiting to get 40 to replace my Cleric's Linen Shoes http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37730 with the Xintor's Expeditionary Boots http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40750 which would allow be to begin regemming for sp. Or should I buy something else?

from what i've heard it still proccs of FA and the passive spellpower aint to bad, but I don't think I would get it myself though.

True, Fel Armor did proc the trinket but is this a bug that will be fixed? Or is it "working as intended"? It would be unpleasant to spend 40 emblems for a trinket waiting to be "fixed" into something entirely useless as a lock. :-\

Fel Armor no longer proc's the egg.

it still procs for me. u just have to lifetap to get fel armor healing you and then it has a chance. frequently though i get healed up full before it procs.

blizzard fixed the EOME proc for warlocks. it was an unintended bug

So the EOME is basically not very interesting for warlocks?

Your hit is terrible...might want to look into Mark of the War Prisoner. It's a pretty decent upgrade, and it drops in (H) Violet Hold from the last boss, Cyanigosa.

I may get it, in fact I let my brother take it the last time.

But as I wrote, I already have a 307 hit equipment.

With Valors get the 25 badge ring, it's the best in slot (depending on the build tho, but it's on top 3 for all builds).
With the Heroisms I'd buy either the neck or Waist (belt, the hit one). Prolly would go for the belt as it's pretty good. But again, you can get almost as good from the last boss of HC UP.

Those are the ones I'd go next.
But always go for the hit > SP > Haste > Crit

Then I used 2 Rigid Autumn's Glow http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40014
All in all +69 hit for the belt, which I am using in my 'hit-capped' outfit.

If you are already hitcapped (289 if you have talents and your raid composition has a SP or moonkin - 368 if you have talents OR your raid has a SP/moonkin and 400+ if you don't have either buffers nor talents) you could start to change gems from Yellow ones to Red ones.
Getting new gems boost could your Spellpower like up to 200, thus making that new shiny belt kinda awesome...

Well, I did it another way: having that much hit on the belt enabled me to replace the hit-strong blue items with less hit-strong epic ones.
But of course if I get the Mark of the War Prisoner I'll regem the belt for spell power.

lets hope u dont have the same like me then, killing cyanigosa more then 20 times on HC before the trinket is actually yours (only saw it drop 2 times by then, lost roll twice obviously :P). man i really saw many groups disbanding because of having to fight Zuramat the Obliterator or Xevozz

edit: even had a pally tank at Xevozz that said we should kill the adds -_-

if you still need hit, get the +hit Titan-Forged boots from Wintergrasp. Only 15 marks, and a socket. Good item, despite the "wasted" item points on resilience for PvE.

Should I buy the Heroes' Plagueheart Gloves http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39500 for 60 emblems to replace my Gloves of Glistening Runes http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37172 with a view to the set?
