    Re: Kings is baseline

i bet they make the baseline 4% and then imp kings 3/3 to get 10% each time increasing it by 2%, they will either have to do that or give us a new talent or just move things around

Long time coming. Now I don't feel crappy in 5 mans when I use my raid build (51/0/20) for more crit and have no kings to show for it.

    Re: Kings is baseline

It is highly probably that the baseline kings will be the 2% version and there will still be talents required to make it 10%.
There is a thin line between not knowing and not caring, and I like to think that I walk that line every day.

    Re: Kings is baseline

I really hope that they just make the baseline 10% and grow a pair.

the Exorcism is hot for everyone though.

    Re: Kings is baseline

I guess, Prot will be the new ultimate PvP build for pallys. 10 sec HoJ CD, Exorcism working on all...

Baseline Kings is something they should have come up with way earlier. And as they do it now, I don't actually know what I should think of it. What do I do with 5 extra points? Do they f.ck up again by making the baseline spell 2% and you need talent points for it being 10%? What will the replacement talent be? Hopefully something useful for Ret... otherwise we end up putting 66 points in Ret, taking each and every talent.

This would be a fatal contradiction to Blizz always saying "we want you to have options"... what options anyway?

Exorcism change is reaaaally nice, although I can already hear the QQ from the PvP'ers. Another instant ability, combined with a 2sec silence.

We will see how things will evolve during the PTR, it's all subject to change.

    Re: Kings is baseline

problem was that retribution is the only tree that has points left to take it without leaving mandatory skills out. im guessing it will be 10% base skill.

on the other hand, i dont like the exorcism change. they shouldnt touch the paladin's identity.

An Exorcism is a ritual act which drives evil things away in an attempt to cleanse the soul of the victim. Evil does not necessarily mean "undead" or "demon", so the changes does not affect our identity in any way. It just makes our identity as the keepers of the light and all that is good and holy more clear.

those evil things are demons who are posessing human beings yes. but since players arent posessed, they shouldnt be able to get a exorcism.

Paladins are about faith. If your faith tells you to exorcise this or that, you use it's power and do so.
