why are DKs hated so much?

1. Alot of Dks don't know how to play
2. They are OP
3. They always have stupid names

Numbers 1 & 3 most commonly are seen both on the same character, a player who clearly is totally clueless usually also has some totally idiotic name or a name taken from anime, movie or another video game.

Number 3 also appears by itself, even with some skilled players, but usually a skilled player with an idiotic name is a PvP oriented one who just likes to kill other players, and as such, they usually play a fotm class or a rogue and love ganking lowbies.

Number 2 I kinda have to agree with. DKs are overpowered in many, many ways. Since I am a PvE player myself I can only talk about PvE experience, but so far my DK can tank instances far easier than any other class with similar gear as I have so high avoidance, combine that with 4 different cooldowns to use and you've got a damn hard tank on your hands. Oh, and the damage? Well, how many other classes can do 1.2k dps on Nexus at lvl 72? When I was leveling my prot paladin I was nowhere near such numbers.

Now, I don't complain about number 2 as it doesn't quite matter in PvE, and since I don't PvP I have no reason to complain about it.

I hate DKs cause they were the only class ever in my pvp history to 100-0 me in pain supp and battlemaster trink.When i say in pain supp i mean i die WITH pain supp STILL UP.Never had anyone do that to me.Ever.Ever.

Mine would be when on at least 1 character has 5000 Archievement Points and has at least 3 characters lvl 40+

sure people know how to play their class in high end raiding context @ lvl 40 ...
and you're idea is pretty much about ... farming since having 5000 achievements points is only about farming those points.

that's even worst then giving a DK to any player having reach the 55lvl with at least one toon.

lowbies farmer never made a decent raider ...

and as far as i can see all the ranting is mostly about pvp and especially 1v1.
thsi 1v1 pvp bliz stated quite a few times now they would never balance.

and about he rogues who complain DK's are taking their slot in raid. well, i don't know any DK that can sap, or stun lock any add in a fight nor anything like putting specialised poison on targets.

and if the only matter of your raid leader is DPS, well jsut wait until ulduar and its cc demanding encounters. some dks will be thrown out to the profit of cc'd able classes. like rogues.
and never forget about those people who wanted to have a second raiding toon woithout grinding the 55 first lvl.
i've tried and lvl a warrior in order ot have a tank. i stopped it @60 and now my DK is a lvl80 tank, my new main char. my alt is now my restau shamy i'm now leveling, with the aim of raiding with it as well.
