twink priest

hi.
im planning to make a twink priest at lvl 39, for heal my friend's warrior.
im new on caster twink and priest, can any1 give me some suggestions on gearing selection and enchants?
ofc iv got all the BOA items and shoulder enchants.

Items to consider from a limited twinking experience in that range would be atleast two Heirloom items; the shoulders and possibly staff (can't remember if it's better than the dagger offhand combo from SM). Also possibly the trinket if you only have the PvP one. The total cost there means you had better have a T7.5 raider to suppport it.

Some AH loot to add would be, necromancers leggings, dreamweavers vest (not sure on level and requires tailoring), dreamweavers headpiece, gold ring of power and anything with high stamina (you WILL need it).

Try and get the epic ring from SM, it really helps with your defence when you randomly freeze people.

On Topic, It is my complete and utterly honest opinion, that you DO NOT make a 39 Priest Twink. As a person speaking from experience with a former 39 Priest Twink now moved to the 69 bracket (fun times), you will be targeted first, talent wise most of the good talents for Priests are in the higher-digits, and the healing is rather hard to do due to you running oom most of the times you need to pump those heals out the most. Personally, I would make a Resto Druid. Thats where the good heals for Twinks are, its basic HoT and go. Ive seen a 69 druids heal for in the millions in one AV, and druids in the 39 brackets are unmatched.

Of course, if you reeeeally want to make a 39 Priest twink, that's kudos to you! Personally, I couldn't stand the 39 bracket on my priest, but it could be just the place you want to be.

thanx, coz i see a lot of druids there then i want to make sth different :P my warrior friend can kill any1 in 39 bgs in 10 sec,but he is short on health, so i want to use a healer:P my main is warlock and hes main is priest

You cant heal if you are dead. If you make a Priest twink, you WILL be targeted first. You will not have the talents to take damage or mitigate it. You most likely will not be getting away from the melee. You will be going oom almost every skirmish. Priest heals at this level ESPECIALLY for twink do not come fast enough, or strong enough. PW:S Does not have enough prevention to stop the high damaging attacks at these levels.

Also, BG healing usually will not come down to keeping one person alive. Helps if your entire "Team" is at high health instead of everyone under 25% then starts taking AoE damage or promptly gets killed right in the next fight.


However! Like I said . . . . . it is your call, just make suggestion that you do not make a priest twink.

I have to say for the 30's bracket, yea a priest probably isn't the way to go. If we were talking 40's that would be a different story.

However since you are talking 30's, just because your friend is low on health, doesn't mean you need a healer to compliment him. You could think about taking a character with lockdown potential such as a mage or rogue, to basically put a target in one place while he beats it to death, or to help control multiple enemies from attacking him at once. Personally I like the rogue choice because then your foes won't see it coming :P

I here everyone saying a 39 twink preist is no good, to go to the 69 bracket. My question is this:
Is a 19 twink preist any good?

I have a low lvl preist (lvl 17) and was thinking about twinking him in the 19 bracket, so if possible I
would like some feedback from anyone that has tried in this bracket.

The heirloom shoulders (with the pvp shoulder enchant you can pick up in SW or Org from the vendor there) & trinkets (one pvp & one SP) are the three things you want to get from badges. The Devout Aurastone Hammer & Dignified Headmaster's Charge are crap for anything other than a lvl 19 twink. The Blessed Hammer of Grace & Grand Staff of Jordan are only decent because of the small amount of resilience they offer but still are pretty shitty too. You can only get the pre-BC enchants on any heirloom item & compared to "real" versions that allow for BC enchants. The best bet is to get the Staff of Jordan and put 40 spellpower on it.

The rest of the stuff you should get is as followed:

HELM: the engineering helm "green lense of healing"

Keep in mind, that you will be targeted by all of the other twinks out there so its key that you have desporate prayer as a talent so you get that free mana cost instant heal. You should also have the Runic/Golden Spellthread put on those leggings since the 5 extra stam will be key to you staying alive.
