our arcane mages are usually on top, followed by DKs, Spriest, and war

For a overall 25 man DKs are usually at top due to AoE during trash pulls.

For a single target, gimmick buffed fight we have a arms war that constantly pulls over 10k DPS on Thadius.

To be honest I see alot of shamans up at the tops aswell! Not just to promote the shaman class, but they're also great fun to play :]

I am usually high up there as enhancement with some hunters/warriors when I go raiding, both in overall and some boss fights in both 10/25 mans.

And there are lots of enhancement shamans better geared than me

bosses that boost yours dmg alot are not good dps meters to say who is best
aka thaddius/loa spore/
or bosses that requit moving or something else that lowers the dps so much melee mostly

patch is good boss to see the most right numbers and if i remember right blizzard self used him to see the classes dps too

Properly played TG Warriors/DW DK's will top Hunters, assuming they all have their BIS's.

mages and afflic locks. our last 25 man patch kill, our lock was the first in guild to break 6k DPS, on patchwerk, the only decent raid measure of DPS, and 2 mages were a little above 5500. I, a moonkin, came in fourth at 5100.

Patch is currently the worse class to look at dps. In a fight thats less than 3minutes a blood dk will top the meter without a doubt.

Anyways I use to top our dmg meter as unholy, then a mage and an assasination rogue. all over 5500 dps.

TG warriors are pretty good atm, but usually im underneath rogues in raids.

TG warr once got enough gear(hitcap,38-40%crit,4k+ap) with dual betrayer is one of the top 2,hitting over 6k dps on single target(on pw there are wws with warrs on 7k w/o getting any special buff such as hysteria).The second is arcane mage,which can go up to 7k dps for a few seconds.

on loatheb i get around 7-7.5k dps as TG and i know that this is not close to the best.if your warr suck(i see best dps on lolatheb being below 5k..)thats another story.If you wish to evaluate ur dps,dont show trash mob dps ,but total bossfights
