They are counted as enemy targets, and are not higher level than you, so there is no reason they should be immune to Mind Control. It is interesting to see if you can mind control someone already under the effect, it might just break the control on them. I am interested to see your results.

I tried this in many different MC situations and all of them never worked. There's no harm in trying.

Any good raiding spriest should've tried MC-ing the mindcontrolled... only excuse being you discussed the fight and had several other, better cc classes assigned to do the job.

Ofcourse only to find out that our MC is useless but at least you tried and act on what happened instead of being caught up in tunnelvision raiding. :P

I'll have to disagree. Any good raiding Spriest should know that MC is a poor CC option for this fight. Not only do you lose DPS while MCing, what are you going to do if you get Frost Blast, Shadow Fissure, or Mana Detonation? Drop MC and hope a Mage or Druid picks it up? You can't move around or DPS while channeling MC. It's obviously better to have someone else quickly throw a sheep or cyclone because they can continue DPSing right away (or move around if they have to) without breaking their sheep or cyclone CC.

So, imagine this - 40 priests vs 40 priests in AV:
Priest 1 MCs Priest 2, Priest 3 MCs Priest 1 who's MC'ed Priest 2 which then gets MC'ed again twice by priest 4, which gets MC'ed by Priest 5.

Later the unstoppable force hits hogger and the world explodes.
