    What do you think the raid dungeons between Ulduar and Icecrown will be?

    I see a few possibilities.

    Jotunheim, located in northwest Icecrown, the home of the new characters that storm through Icecrown in the Wrathgate cinematic. Not only would it progress the lore behind the characters, it'd offer quite a lovely Norse mythology flavor to the game.

    Uldum, a decent follow up to Ulduar? Being both made by the titans, it might be too much titan stuff right at first, but it might come eventually?

    Grim Batol, the Dwarven, then Orc stronghold in the Wetlands. Lots and lots of First and Second war lore involved there. Red dragons, orcs, dwarves, and most of all, it'll take us all back to our low 20's

    It won't be Uldum.
    They won't do two Titan Raids after another.

    I'm thinking that it will be some sort or Nerub raid or a Zul'Drak raid (Massive Snake tail in Gundrak?)

    They won't likely do Uldum after Ulduar, but I would think that since they've expressed desire to do it sometime, it might fall into Wrath of the Lich King.

    For god's sake, let it be related to the Lich King. I'm tired of them touting a big main antagonist and then they're put in the backdrop for something stupid and unrelated.

    Well, the last 2 you mentioned are more like "future" raids period, and not the kind you mentioned from your titlecause I doubt that'll be anytime in this expansion).

    Personally, I think we'll either see a Scarlet Onslaught "homeworld" where Mal'ganis has retreated his forces(the few deranged that stay with him) onto some legion world(portal and more to go fight him, if not I bet he'll be breaking into ICC to fight The Lich King himself, and we stop him along the way), a Chamber of aspects dungeon is very likely(Infinite Dragonflight breaking into the bronze one?, a taste at the emerald dream "possiblities" in the future, last retreating forces of malygos' retreated into the blue chamber(by other means, like they did with VH, so that they wouldn't get stopped by the Red Drakes outside), an even deeper dwelling nearer to Yogg-saron than most of Ulduar(if we do not supress him completely in Ulduar), a troll dungeon[which I don't want to see anytime soon, ZA tied me over for a good 2 expansions,XD], and a surprise instance if non of those are it(something nobody but blizzard would suspect)

    For those who are saying Uldum, forget about it, because Blizzard mentioned they won't most likely won't be implementing it in WoTLK.
    I'll find a quote.

    I find the door still interesting as something has obviously broken out. Was there something meant to be contained within Uldum, to be forgotten, that's escaped? Possibly something we don't even associate with the Titans or their creations. Maybe something we take for granted, I don't know, but I like that idea.
    However in the WWI Q&A Panel it was stated that:

    I'm hoping for a Zul'Drak instance as well as a couple more portals opening up under Wyrmrest Temple.

    Grim Batol would also be awesome and is what I would really like to see.

    Re: What do you think the raid dungeons between Ulduar and Icecrown will be?

    Naxxramas > OS/EoE > Ulduar > Zul'Drak/Nerubian Raid > Icecrown.
    Archivon 1 > Archivon 2 > Chamber of Aspects 2

    Difficulty level comparison.

    Naxx = Kara
    Os/EoE = Gruuls/Mag
    Ulduar = SSC
    Zul'Drak/Nerub = Hyjal / BT
    Icecrown = Sunwell

    at least that's what I wish for the difficulty levels, will probably be more like

    Naxx = kara
    OS/EoE = ZA
    Ulduar = gruuls
    Zul'drak / Nerub = Mag
    Ice crown = SSC

    Those quotes don't say no Uldum. They just say that a lot of old world stuff including Uldum won't be released in the same expansion. So its probably more like we'll get Uldum OR Grim Batol OR some other random place in the middle of nowhere.

    Re: What do you think the raid dungeons between Ulduar and Icecrown will be?

    If they have a second raid instance in a row that has nothing to do with the Lich King, they can fuck themselves. Seriously.

    Yeh I didn't mean to say they definately WONT release Uldum but it implies they wont be releasing it any time soon.

    Who said that the Lich King isn't involved? Maybe the lich king released Yogg-Saron or helped him get released?

    That's a huge possibility and there's a connection between them, but I still don't see him being shown or used much in the duration.

    I can already say now that the next raid is probably a Nerub raid. I still see an undead nerubian beast model without animations in the MPQs that has been unused since beta and there seems to be more stuff under Icecrown Citadel that seems like it's gonna go somewhere and have a raid connected to it.

    Plus the scrapped Azjol-Nerub zone that they turned into two instances instead...that makes me think it'll be a new Isle of Quel'Danas thing.

    Also an unused Azjol-Nerub sky in the files.

    I think there definetly has to be more done with Nerubs either in an entire new raid, or as helpers in Icecrown. Considering that Anub'Arak (sp) basically saved Arthas's butt when he went to Icecrown it pains me to see him be a 5 man boss. However, considering the Nerubs as a race are undead it would be nice to see Anub'Arak play a bigger role IMO. Just my thoughts.

    Link to that?

    TBH, a raid that involves an attack on a major city depending on what faction you are would be kind of cool...but they'd probably screw it up into a Hyjal redo.

    blizzard is good in unrelated instances. While LK schemes undoing of all humanity, evil armies of grimbatol suddenly appeared at the gates of Batol!

    Re: What do you think the raid dungeons between Ulduar and Icecrown will be?

    Actually, Grim Batol is the hiding place of the presumably dead Deathwing, where he, well, schemes the undoing of all humanity just like the Lich King is, like he was always doing. It might be unrelated to Northrend and the Lich King theme of the expansion, but it's definietely nothing close to unsignificant, so your sarcastic comment about "evil armies of grimbatol" is a testament to your lack of knowledge.

    For the exact same reason, I really doubt we will see Grim Batol in Wrath, even though there's an awkwardly unexplained direct link to it in Obsidian Sanctum.
