    We just got DoT protection

    Shadow

    * Psychic Horror (New Skill) - You terrify the target, causing them to tremble in horror for 3 sec and drop all weapons for 10 sec. (16% of base mana, 30 yd range, Instant cast, 1 min cooldown)
    * Vampiric Touch now cause 680 damage (at Rank 5) if the effect is dispelled.
    * Shadow Affinity now gives the priest 5% of his base mana when his Shadow Word: Pain or Vampiric Touch spells are dispelled. (up to 15%)

    All are on the front page, along with the updated talent calculator.

    edit: corrected Psychic Horror effect.

    Another class in WoW is envious of a Shadow Priest anti-melee ability!

    edit: Check out the change to Psychic Horror. It is now a 10 second horror and 10 second disarm!

    Nice that priests - shadow priests at least - are getting some tools to protect them self for once.

    It really seems that they want to make us shadowpriests pvp viable. Hurray!

    Edit: 10 second horror AND disarm makes sense, if they trinket the horror or it gets dispelled they will still be disarmed. If they are horrored for 10 seconds full, yay me

    horror for 3 seconds and disarm for 10 seconds.

    Actually I believe it's a typo... I mean come on, ppl have been QQ'ing for AGES against Death Coil which is only 3 second horror !!! So 10 sec + 10 sec disarm ?!?!?!? wtf...

    Oh, well, glad for you guys, about time a caster dps other then mages be made viable in pvp :P

    EDIT : Actually... both on front page and in talent calculator it says 3 second horror. Where di you get the 10 sec ?

    Dunno, Abandon seems to have read somewhere about the 10 secs.

    Still, 3 seconds is enough to get away from melees and they will be disarmed a bit more, and maybe the normal fear will be off cooldown again by that time, and maybe we can beat them then

    I copied the notes off the front page when they first went up, before they added the screenshots of the new tree and boss. There was a typo in the notes, which I have corrected.

    I hope blizzard changes the physic horror effect.. Not because it sounds insane but, for the fact that they are doing what they always say they dont want to do. Cloning class abilities. I personally feel rogues should lose this as well.. A disarm is fine but not disarming all weapons its silly. Not to mention warriors rogues and hunters can do this. For that matter hunters should lose it too ( And I play a hunter). It's silly to give every class a disarm. If they do this they might as well go back and change everything else as far as classes getting other class' abilities.

    I hope blizzard changes the mind freeze effect... not because it is insane but, for the fact that they are doing what they always say they dont want to do. Cloning class abilities. I personally feel rogues should lose this as well... an interrupt is fine but silencing a whole cast schoool is silly. Not to mention warriors and hunters and warlocks and druids and paladins and god knows who can do this too. Its silly to give every class an interrupt.

    The question is why doesn't every class have a disarm? Every class gets a interrupt of some form to fuck casters over but not the other way around.
