How rare will it be !? o.O

A new (and very rare) special mount can now be caught from Northrend fishing pools.
Coralshell Turtle - Summons and dismisses a rideable Coralshell Turtle. This is a very fast mount, both on land and in water.

I know its a Coralshell Turtle mostly because they added it to the One That Didn't Get Away Achievement for fishing.

And by rareness I meant how big chance of getting one

If its anything like the other rare fish, im guessing 1 in 1000-10000

Rareness is not rarity, rarity implies a certain chance rate while rareness means that it is rare (and has a low chance rate). So your usage of rareness is quite different from everyone else's definition.

Mounts just seem to jump out at me, got the bear mount the first time I finished ZA 4chest (wall hacking ftw) and one of the first one server, one of the first on the server to get the white chocobo from kael and the first time I solo'd ZG the tiger mount dropped.

But then again, chance is chance, no such thing is luck so I doubt it will happen again. (never got the crawd after all)

But hopefully it is not THAT much of an extreme drop rate.




Anyway, Blizzard owe fishers since the mounts in water thing has kinda ruined that fishing trinket that turns you into a fish.

Well they didn't add any other fish to the Achievement and since the mount will be a rare one I don't see why it wouldn't be in it :P

I'm gonna wait for 3.1 before getting the Salty title only missing one achievement for it which is [One That Didn't Get Away] and I'm gonna fish for the turtle none-stop

Apparently if you had one of the vials pre-patch. You could get the other one whenever and get the title =/. I got my first vial the day after the patch sadly.

Actually it was if you got the quest pre-patch :P and I completed my Vial quest before patch I was stuck on Al'ar forever

I hope its impossibly rare. I like no one having my TLPD. And personally, I already farmed the Super Simian Shpere, which was 0.0% or somewhere around there; how hard can this one be?
