T8 lack of leg coverage is ugly.

Please, oh please be joking. Or at least tell us you mixed up the pics or something, because a mage without a robe is hardly a mage at all... Seriously, the only toons that look better without some kind of kilt or skirt (or robe etc etc...) is Hunters, Rogues, Warriors, Pallies, Enhancement Shammies, and DK's - regardless of race.

Honestly, this just goes back into the "traditional" phase of... well... the world. Mage is the "magical" equivalent of the Wizard. How often do you see a wizard NOT walking around without a staff!? When have you seen the greater Wizard Community poking people with daggers and swords? Why, therefore, are we encouraged to use Sword/Dagger+Offhand instead of a staff?

With that in mind... When do you not see a wizard, male OR female, NOT walking around in a robe(m) or dress (fm)???
There's that and (imo) draenei's legs look ugly... lol. Completely epic with kilt or kilt-like attire around the legs. But a draenei in jeans?! *shudder* Even the Humans, Undead, and all other mages. Getting a robe is like a birthright... We hit 80 and feel all weak or what-not. We suddenly get our robe and cover up 'dem legs. Now, through some random act of... something, we suddenly FEEL epic... I mean, if you've ever played a mage, did you suddenly feel any different the day you got out of shorts and put on big boy clothes? Because I sure as hell did.

    /end rant

I'm going to feed the trolls and say that this is a nice change. Coming from a male human mage, yes you read right!

Blizz failed us with the tunic+pants combination back when TBC started but this set looks cooler with pants. If you have spent any time in the Kirin'tor Citadel, you'd appreciate the pants.

Now if you made the mistake and rolled a draenei male that will probably look retarded in pants, boohoo tbh! :'( :'(

Have to agree with Evoker on this part.. and besides, we can finally just let the pallys eat their own word after calling us men in skirts

Say hello to my friend the battlemage. I hate it how people pull stuff out of their asses without knowing barely anything about these traditional fantasy elements. When have I see a mage without a robe? Hundreds of times.

I really don't mind that much about pants / robes but the thing that REALLY REALLY bothers me is the feel since im a troll ( no hatespams pls ) is that he has like bare feet which is kinda lance please put some decent boots on it and would be great

PS about the battle mage where exactly did u see exept this pic a mage with an axe or actually read a fantasy book or something that anywhere u saw or heard a mage with an axe >.<

Re: T8 lack of leg coverage is ugly.

It’s a tunika an looks like plate for Paladins >_<

What have they thought, to let Mages wear tunikas?

Have they ever seen a Mage wearing a tunika? – it looks totally stupid

In which RPG world Mages wear tunikas? – I don’t know any

Why have they change it? All Mages you ever meet to in the world of warcraft are wearing robes and it’s good so. (Exept Rhonin, but he looks not like a Mage anyway)

Why are they designing a absolute Mage-like looking s6-Set but a T8 set which looks like a Paladin in blue and if you see that set, you never think it’s made for a mage who wants to wear that.

A robe is a symbol of art of Mages, it’s one piece of cloth which is a Mage identifying with. Why do they want to destroy that and take away the unique feeling to be a Mage?

Also in the Intro vieeos, Mages are designd with robes, all T-set bevor t8 were robes….so why are the hell they change it….i really could cry about that…

I always tried to combine optimal look witch the highest possible stats…all must be fitting together…but the tunika hurts badly in my eyes.

I personally think, that’s one of the worst nerfs ever and I am still asking myself with what Mages diservse such a thing…wearing tunikas is simply not Mage-like and has nothing to do witch the class.

Such many quastions, an no answers....

I am really sad about that, if it ever goes live.

And explain to me the last time you saw a mage in WoW using axes and dual wielding swords. And might I point out we are mages, not battlemages.

Seems to be Blizz put about as much thought into our t8 as they did into nerfing molten armour and the abysmal 4pc for arcane. Gief robe back k.

well the prot and holy paladins got ya'lls robes.

personally i'm a fan, but i still agree, seeing mages in pants is really ugly, especially the the Human females. They will come out the worst. So glad i stopped playing my mage though, sorry.

That's preposterous! I can't be seen running around wearing off-spec pieces! I'll look like... well... probably something better than the tier8 robe.

    Dang it.

Post in an existing thread. Your opinion is not so important that you need a new thread for it when there are three on the main page.

You are not a delicate and unique snowflake.
I shall die here. Every inch of me shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us.

Ok, how many FEMALE Mages do you see without a dress? Hmm?

Anyways, I hear that really only a 2pc is really optimum for mages so just pick your poison.

So, in your opinion, littering the forum with topics that exist and are around at the very same page is fine, while someone pointing it out is not?

Consider it a first step. If this means that in a year from now mages will get to dual wield axes and have badass helms then I'm all for it.

    I rolled a mage so I wouldn't get whirlwinded.
But I'm not against a cool helm.
Roll the class, be the player. Now stop crying.
