Genesis for Feral Druid?

I just wanted to ask if someone has ever tried the talent Genesis in a feral spec.

The talent says "Increases the damage and healing done by your periodic damage and healing effects by 1-2-3-4-5%", and for what i can understand it could refer to rip and rake damage too.
Considering that rip and rake damage are a great part of kitty whole damage it could be a good increment putting some point in Genesis.

What do you think about it?

If it worked properly then maybe...ill test it tonight on the PTR.

Point is even IF it worked, its a horrible waste of points for such a small 'theoretical gain'. So it doesn't work AND its horrible, go put your points elsewhere.

hmm i gues the 5% dmg would still be better then the 4% crit on MSS but sadly genesis is based on spellpower thingy's

for a pure single target cat DPS build it would be easy to implement those 5 points if you are like me and have a arms warrior at all times.

But i tested it on the PTR and it's still broken, only works on spells >_<

Yes because bleeds are definitely not "Periodic damage" They should fix the tool tip if anything >_<
