why the divine hymn changes?

Maybe I'm in a minority but I use divine hymn all the time to restore mana for my party. Its particularly useful in fights that have phases, where you can be sure you don't need to heal for a few seconds. Also of course its good for saving time from drinking on trash. I don't see any need for changes to it.

The difference is that divine hymn is the healing channel spell, hymn of hope the mana restoring channel spell.

It's kinda a big difference if you're restoring hp or mp to somebody.

I would prefer to just have Divine Hymn stripped of its CC effect and cooldown reduced to about 30 seconds.

It was great for aoe healing.. Well, at the moment it's up anyway, way too long cooldown.

As for Hymn of Hope.. ehh.. Not sure, I still dislike the channeling. It's still terrible in effect as well.

It was actually really powerful on the PTR for the couple of days prior to the most recent change. A Smart AOE GHeal channel essentially.

what's annoying is if you're tank healing and you pop your channel, there's a chance it won't be on the tank where it matters as a tank healer and you end up wasting the CD and the mana.
