Epic Mount question with 3.1

Hi Guys, i'm a few bars from 77 and heard that theres going to be some mount changes in 3.1 for duids. It was suggested not to spend the 5k on epic flyer becuase its not required for druids unless they wanna fly dragons and such.

So basically i pay 7g for training 1k for cold weather and thats it? It sounds to good to be true, so i figured i would ask here before i go spend the 5k and in a few weeks or whenever 3.1 comes out i'm out 5k for nothing.

and the flying skills is to fly, not to fly a spesific kind of mount or form

You need your Epic flying training in order to get your Swift Flying Form.

There's been nothing mentioned in any patch notes / blue posts that I've seen to suggest druids will get free swift flight form, and I highly doubt they'd make such a change anyway - it's one thing for locks, pallies and DKs getting free land mounts, but that's a LONG way from free epic flying mounts - there'd be a riot from all the other classes...

You need the 5K flying skill to be able to buy the 17g swift flying form skill which is a level 71 skill without the quest chain. I'm still doing it for the rep though.

1k for 225 riding skill
5k for 300 riding skill(epic flying)
1k for cold weather flying.
xg for flight&swift flight form.

No. It takes 7g for druid only. And 700 or 800 for all others (not 1k).

Druids don't have to pay for the normal flying skill, only the epic one.
